Introduction and Course of Changes
Since 1996, the Department of Land Management and Development (LMD) has recruited high school graduates with a social-study major from the University Entrance exams. Meanwhile, it has initiated its 2-year technical bachelor program. In 1999, its graduate program was approved by the MOE; it recruits college graduates as well as on-the-job students. In 2001, while having a due amount of faculties with the demand of diverse admission from high school graduates, LMD began recruiting its second class of undergraduate program for student with a science major. In 2002, to fulfill the demand of on-the-job students, a new extensive master program was developed to fulfill the needs of those students. Also, it has added a class of extensive-education undergraduate program.
