題名:論文指導師徒關係中師徒功能之探討

摘要:師徒功能是指師父提供徒弟在專業知識上、生活上以及心理上等各方面的協助。在職場上,許多企業運用師徒功能讓新進人員快速社會化,學習專業的技能。然而,師徒功能不但在職場中被廣為運用,在學校裡也相當受到重視。在校園中,師徒關係也是人際關係中重要的一環,特別是研究所中指導教授與研究生之間的師徒關係,相對於業界中同儕之間的師徒關係,指導教授與研究生之間的關係較類似傳統的師徒傳承觀念,在研究生的修業期間中,研究生與指導教授的互動相當頻繁,指導教授除了指點研究生研究上的疑惑,也會給予其生活上的關心,而研究生的畢業依據為畢業論文,而論文的完成必須依賴指導教授的指導,所以指導教授對研究生的重要性不言可喻,其間建立起一種相當特別的師徒關係,很有研究的價值。本研究以質化研究取向,訪談23 位國內各大專院校的研究生,以了解研究生論文寫作及其與指導教授相處的情形,研究結果發現:1.研究生在選擇指導教授時,主要是以教授的研究領域與教授的個性作為選擇的依據、2.指導教授指導研究生的方式可分為提點式與放任式兩種、3.指導教授與研究生討論論文的頻率以一個禮拜一次為主、4.指導教授的指導方式不會因為研究生的不同而有差異、5.每位指導教授對研究生論文的要求皆不相同、6.指導教授與研究生在論文以外的互動上,會與研究生保持師生關係的距離,以利自己在論文方面的指導。 Mentor function means that Master provides apprentices with all aspects of professional knowledge, life, and psychological assistance. In the workplace, many companies use the mentor function to quickly socialize newcomers and learn professional skills. However, the mentor function is widely used not only in the workplace, but also in schools. On campus, the mentoring relationship is also an important part of the interpersonal relationship, especially the mentoring relationship between the professor and graduate students in the research institute. Compared with the mentoring relationship between peers in the industry, the mentoring relationship between professors and graduate students, the relationship is same as the traditional concept of master and apprentice inheritance. During the graduate study period, the interaction between the graduate student and the instructor is quite frequent. In addition to pointing out the doubts in the research of the graduate student, the instructor will also give care to his life. In order to graduate the thesis, and the completion of the dissertation must rely on the guidance of the guidance professor, so the importance of the guidance professor to graduate students is self-evident, during which a quite special teacher-disciplinary relationship has been established, which is of great research value. This study is based on qualitative research, interviewing 23 graduate students from various domestic colleges and universities in order to understand the writing of graduate thesis and how to get along with the instructor. The research findings are as following. 1.Graduate students are mainly based on professors when choosing the instructor. The research field and the personality of the professor are the basis for selection. 2.The guidance professor can guide the graduate students in two ways: point-providing and laissez-faire. 3.The frequency of the professor and graduate students discussing thesis is once a week. 4.The guidance method of the supervising professor will not be different because of different postgraduates. 5.Each supervising professor has different requirements for postgraduate thesis. 6.The supervising professor and postgraduate will maintain the teachers and students with the postgraduates in the interaction outside the dissertation. The distance of the relationship to facilitate their own guidance in thesis.
